Green Roof PHOTO EXPO

The Green Roof Photographic Exhibition, to accompany the Green Roofs for Australia two-day conference, is planned to feature 100 full-colour, large-scale posters depicting some of the world's best examples of green roofs (mostly in Europe and North America).

The EXPO will run from February 21-23, 2007, at the Brisbane Technology Park Conference Centre, Miles Platting Road, Eight Mile Plains, Brisbane, Queenland, Australia.

The EXPO will comprise practical and informative large-scale posters for roof designers, contractors and suppliers in Australia and New Zealand. Companies wishing to develop business connections with these bodies are being offered an economical way to promote these connections.  

Cost of sponsoring each 1 metre wide by 2 metres deep poster will be A$290 (plus GST in Australia) or US$225 or 175 Euros. The sponsor has only to email four high-quality digital images and about 500 words of text about the photos and the case study they represent.  

Green Roofs for Healthy Australian Cities then provides:

• A design according to a common theme.
• Proofing of the design and caption (to be completed before December 15, 2006).
• Supply of a 1m x 2m full colour poster for the exhibition.
• Hire and mounting of a display stand for the poster.
• A business card holder for each poster, so that the sponsor's business cards (at least  500 to be supplied by each sponsor) can be available to take by interested Green Roofs for Australia conference attendees.
• Inclusion of the poster pictures and text and sponsor's full contact details in a CD to be provided to each person attending the Green Roofs for Australia conference.
• Storage and subsequent use of the posters at conference, seminars or other events to be organised around Australia and New Zealand.

The BONUS is that the Green Roof Photo Expo will be taken to other Australian cities for display at meetings to recruit members of Green Roofs for Healthy Australian Cities.

The Brisbane Technology Park conference centre entrance in Miles Platting Roard, Eight Mile Plains, about 12 kilometres south of Brisbane CBD. The venue is capable of seating 400 to 900 attendees and exhibiting 100 green roof photo displays 1m x 2m.  Twelve display booths are available in the foyer of the conference centre (see plan, above).
